In this paper, the authors determine the influence of the innovative and creative qualities of the manager on the effectiveness of managerial activities. The definitions of the concepts "innovations", "creativity", "creativity" are generalized, their significance for the economy is revealed. The historical aspect of the emergence of creativity and its spread in the management environment for successful business is revealed. The authors note that in the new economic realities, the manager's activity becomes more complicated and involves the performance of functions not only of the business executive, but of the entrepreneur, innovator, generator of ideas in solving non-standard problems. An increase in the interest of researchers in the development of the manager of innovative and creative qualities is determined, which is an economic resource and contributes to the intensive development of society as a whole. © Perspektivy Nauki i Obrazovania.
