Аннотация:
A novel ternary intermetallic germanide CeIrGe2 has been studied by means of x-ray diffraction, magnetization, specific heat and electrical resistivity measurements, performed in wide ranges of temperature and external magnetic fields. The compound crystallizes in an orthorhombic structure of the CeNiSi2-type (space group Cmcm). It exhibits a Kondo lattice behavior and orders antiferromagnetically at 4 K. © 2017 Elsevier B.V.
