Аннотация:
Objective. To compare the results of operative treatment of patients with complete uterine prolapse following «traditional» vaginal hysterectomy and vaginal hysterectomy with subsequent colpopexy according to an original method. Patients and methods. The article presents an improved surgical technique of treating patients with complete uterine prolapse, retraces near and remote outcomes of operative intervention, the frequency of disease recurrences in 72 pre-and post-menopausal patients, who were divided into two groups depending on surgical volume: vaginal hysterectomy with subsequent colpopexy according to an original method (group 1, n = 36) and classical vaginal hysterectomy (group 2, n = 36). Results. Surgical patients were dynamically followed for 48 months. The questionnaire survey among the patients 6 months later showed an increase in the quality of life in all 72 cases according to the data of the PFDI-20 inventory and normalisation of the sexual sphere parameters in all 22
