Аннотация:
Purpose. To evaluate the effectiveness of treatment of symptomatic uterine fibroids by FUS-ablation in women of reproductive age. Materials and methods. The work was performed at the Medical rehabilitation Center of the Ministry of health of Russia. A retrospective analysis of 195 cases of treatment of uterine fibroids in patients aged 18 to 39 years by FUS-ablation was carried out. The analysis of the frequency of symptoms associated with uterine myoma, for which the patients were treated for the procedure of FU-ablation; required repeated FUS-ablation procedures; additional surgical methods of treatment. Patients with contraindications to MRI, as well as pregnant women, did not participate in the study. Results. The primary result of the FUS-MRI-ablation procedure was evaluated by measuring the ratio of the volume of areas without perfusion that appeared in the treated tumor to the entire volume of the node.
