Аннотация:
The objective. To study specificities of the current epidemiological situation of tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) in the Kostroma region; to study the structure of the population of causative agents. Materials and methods. We used the data of reporting materials and laboratory examinations of the laboratory of the Centre for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Kostroma region (2008-2015), maps of epidemiological investigation of TBE cases. Data of deceased patients were obtained from copies of medical records of hospital patients and extracts from an autopsy protocol (patient K). Ticks Ixodes persulcatus (n = 719) and Dermacentor reticulatus (about 100 ticks) were collected in natural stations of the region by specialists of the Centre for Hygiene and Epidemiology (CHE) in the Kostroma region in 2009, 2011-2012 and 2015. Individual ticks were examined by PCR for TBE virus (TBEV) - 2009 г., borrelia Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato (B.b.s.l.), and also anaplasmae (Anaplasma Phagocytophillum) a
